Tea Museum in Munnar

The tea museum in Munnar is run by Tata tea, the world's largest tea company. You can see many period furniture, stuffed animals and artifacts from the early part of the last century here. There is a mini tea factory with prototype machinery which demonstrates the complete tea making process for the visitors. An absolute must visit place to know everything about your favorite drink.

Mattupetty

Located at a height of over 1700 m, Mattupetty is famous for the Indo Swiss Livestock Project. It makes a great place to spend a lazy afternoon for a group. Visiting time 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 1400 PM to 15.30 PM. The other attractions nearby include the Mattupetty Lake, where you can enjoy a speed boat or motor boat ride.

The Cheeyappara Falls

The Cheeyappara waterfalls located between Neriamangalam and Adimali on the Kochi Madurai highway is a popular picnic spot. Tumbling down in several steps, the waterfalls offers a majestic sight. It is a popular trekking spot as well.
