Cherai Beach 

This 15 km long undulating shoreline has the merit of being one of the cleanest beaches of India. Cherai beach possesses shallow depths safer for swimming, surfing and sunbathing.

As a part of tourism initiatives, about 400 meters of the main beach has been beautified with features like walkway and high mask lamps that adds the magical touch. Round the clock security personals are ever ready to lend visitors a helping hand. 

The Children’s Park on Cherai Beach can engage your kids, when you indulge in more serious water sports. Tourists can hire water scooters and speed boats to go for a spin in the sea.

Azheekkal Sree Varaha Venkateswara Temple, Gowreeswara Temple, Pallipuram Church, Juma Masjid and the Portuguese Fort are the other attractive spots in Cherai.
